ASEAN SME and ASEAN+3 reviewing
(KPL) The 23rd ASEAN SME Agencies Working Group met to exchange lessons and to review cooperation among themselves in Vientiane from 4 to 6 November.
Mr Chea Dara, Director of Small Industries and Handicraft Department of Cambodia, chaired the meeting and representatives from the 10 ASEAN countries attended this three-day meeting.
The participants would be reviewing the SME Policy Blueprint on SME-APBSD 2004-2014, the Vientiane Action Programme, the role of the ASEAN SME, the ASEAN Economic Community Building Programme in 2015 and the ASEAN SME White Paper for 2010.
They would also discuss with the SME bodies of the ASEAN+3, a reference to China, the Republic of Korea and Japan on their business experiences and exchange lessons on SME issues.
