Syrian crisis Stems From Imperialist Powersˈ Meddling : Envoy

Tehran, June 1, IRNA - Zimbabwean Ambassador to Iran Nicholas Kitikiti said here Friday the Syrian crisis stems from imperialist powersˈ meddling aimed at changing the Damascus government. In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Kitikiti stressed that the Syrian crisis should be settled through Syrian-Syrian negotiations. He said that the Zimbabwe government supports Iranˈs peaceful endeavors for settlement of the Syrian crisis. Kitikiti underlined that both Russia and China have reached to the point that political solution is considered as a sole way for settling Syria crisis. He stressed that the imperialist powers mull changing governments in Iran, Zimbabwe, Syria and other independent countries and peruse their wills through imposing sanctions, utilizing media propaganda, military meddling or encouraging the domestic opponents.
