Imam Khomeini commemorated in New Delhi, London

TEHRAN,June 3(MNA) -- The anniversary of the death of the Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini, was commemorated during ceremonies in New Delhi and London. The character traits of Imam Khomeini and the Islamic Revolution’s influence over the world were discussed during a meeting at Iran’s House of Culture in New Delhi on Saturday. The ceremony was organized by the Embassy of Iran in the city. A number of Indian officials delivered speeches at the ceremony, which was attended by groups of local people. The Islamic Center of England in London hosted a conference on Imam Khomeini on Sunday. Imam Khomeini’s influence on the politics of the 21st century was scrutinized during the conference.
