Iranˈs New Envoy To Vatican Submits Credentials To Pope

Rome, June 9, IRNA – Iranˈs new Ambassador to Vatican Hojjatol-eslam Mohammad Taher Rabbani submitted his credentials to World Catholic Leader Pope Francis here on Saturday. In the meeting, Pope underlined the concept of justice and said roots of cruel behavior and unfair acts are human selfishness. Pope referred to the teachings of Jesus Christ and said, ˈWe are committed to uprooting injustice so that human beings can live with peace and prosperity.ˈ Expressing deep concern over the situation in Syria, the Pope said he was extremely dissatisfied with the painful conditions in Syria and is doing his best for return of peace and tranquility to Syria. World Catholic Leader underlined that Syrian people have sustained heavy losses from the situation. ˈI pray to Almighty God that peace and co-existence are restored to Syrian people,ˈ said the Pope.
