Decision To Send Arms To Syrian Rebels, Insult To Nation: Jalili

Tehran, June 25, IRNA – Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said that certain countriesˈ decision to dispatch arms to the terrorists in Syria amounts to insult to the Syrian nation and against the international law. Describing the Syriansˈ role as distinguished in resistance to Israeli occupation over the past several decades, he said that they will never allow the enemies to take decision on their behalf. Every weapon sent to Syria will result in killing innocent people and destroying the Arab stateˈs infrastructure, Jalili said in a meeting with members of a Syrian Committee to Pursue Syrian Nationˈs Demands. During the meeting, representatives of the Syrian dissident groups condemned any hostile move to Syria rejecting the scenario taken by foreign governments to decide for the Syrian nation while most of the Syrians wish to hold free elections without the aliensˈ interference./end
