Lebanese president discusses Syria with Iran’s president-elect

TEHRAN,June 25(MNA) – Lebanese President Michel Suleiman held a telephone conversation with Iranian President-elect Hassan Rohani on Sunday and expressed hope that the situation in Syria would improve through the support of the new Iranian administration. Rohani said that outsiders should not interfere in Syria’s internal affairs, adding that there was no military solution to the crisis. In addition, Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour held a meeting with Rohani in Tehran on Sunday.
