Two children found dead at Perth home

(AAP) The mother of two young boys found dead in their West Australian home is helping police with their inquiries.

Police said the boys, aged two-and-a-half and 10 months, were found dead in the
house on Coniston Drive at Ellenbrook in the Swan Valley, about 20km north of Perth
on Saturday.
They said police had gone to the house about 1.30am (WDT) after being alerted by
someone inside the house.
Family members were present when police arrived but it was not known who was at home
when the babies died, a spokesman said.
"The mother and other family members are helping police with their inquiries," the
spokesman said.
"Post-mortem (examinations) will be conducted on the two boys to determine the cause
of their deaths."
He said it was not known how or when the children died.
Major Crime Squad police were on the scene.
Fairfax Radio Network reported that the woman's husband was away working in the
mining industry.
Neighbours said they were shocked by the incident and were not aware of the
circumstances of the children's deaths, the report said.
