Sepahan’s Navidkia named IPL Player of the Year

TEHRAN,July 11(MNA) – Sepahan midfielder Moharram Navidkia was named the Iranian Professional League (IPL) player of the year on Tuesday night. At the ceremony held at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall, Navidkia, who inspired Sepahan to win Iran’s Hazfi Cup in the last season, was named as the player of the year. Esteghlal coach Amir Ghalenoei was named as the best coach of the year. Former Persepolis midfielder Mehdi Mahdavikia, who bade farewell in May, won sportsmanship award and Fajr Sepasi won league’s sportsmanship award. Saeid Mozaffarizadeh was selected as the best referee of the year. Malavan striker Jalal Rafkhaei won the Golden Boot Award. IPL champion Esteghlal was selected as the best team of the year.
