President Ahmadinejad Lauds Victory Of National Volleyball Team

Tehran, July 13, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in a telephone call on Friday night, felicitated head of Iran’s volleyball federation Mohammad-Reza Davarzani on triumph of national volleyball team in the 2013 FIVB World League. President Ahmadinejad also praised great performance of the Iranian team vs Germany in the 2013 FIVB World League held in Tehran Friday Evening. Iran thrashed Germany 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-20) in Tehranˈs Azadi Sports Complex. The victory was the Iranian teamˈs fifth in this yearˈs FIVB World League. Iran currently enjoys 15 points and stands at fourth place after Russia, Italy, and Serbia./end
