Rubber investment in Oudomsay
(KPL) Lao-Chinese Tong Yang Xichuan Company has licensed to invest around US$3 million in rubber plantation on 2,000 hectares in La district, Oudomsay province.
The signing ceremony of investment and rubber tree plantation promotion took place last week in Oudomsay province. Signatories to the document were Mr. Khampieng Yachongva a representative of Provincial Committee for Investment Management, and Chief of La district and President of Lao-Chinese Tong Yang Xichuang Rubber Company in the presence of Oudomsay Governor Dr Bounphone Bouttanavong and concerned officials of both sides.The agreement stipulated that the Chinese company will invest in rubber plantation on 2,000 ha in La district, Oudomsay province.The plantation of rubber tree will complete within four years. With the initiative, the company will build a sapling centre and plan to grow about 500 ha each year.
