Thai King, Queen in good health

BANGKOK, August 23 (TNA) - A royal doctor says His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit are in good health at the Klai Kangwon Palace in seaside Hua Hin district of Prachuap Khiri Khan province in the Upper Thai South. Clinical Professor Dr. Udom Kachintorn, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, told journalists on Friday that the overall health of Their Majesties the King and the Queen is now much better. According to the royal doctor, His Majesty the King is healthy and so is the beloved monarch's heart, resulting partly from the comfortable environment and happiness of the King, who has returned to the Klai Kangwon Palace, with which he is familiar. The dean noted that the state of happiness is the best medicine-free cure for chronic illnesses in the elderly. According to the dean, on the daily basis, His Majesty the King goes to the Hua Hin beach, rests in an octagonal pavilion, has tea, feeds fish, and visits his workshop and warehouse of sailboats, all are the revered monarch's favorite activities. Doctors also provide His Majesty the King with hydrotherapy. Clinical Professor Dr. Udom acknowledged that His Majesty the King plans to visit two royal projects shortly, including the Khao Krapook agricultural learning center and the Chang Hua Man site. The dean revealed that the heart and the general health of Her Majesty the Queen are stronger and she has always walked in the evening. Besides, physiotherapy is relieving the muscle inflammation which obstructs the movements of Her Majesty's hands. (TNA)
