Thai PM, military leaders wish Gen. Prem happy 94th birthday

BANGKOK, Aug 25 (TNA) - Thai Prime Minister and Defence Minister Yingluck Shinawatra on Sunday made a courtesy call on Privy Council President Gen. Prem Tinsulanonda to wish him a happy birthday. Accompanied by senior military leaders including army chief Gen. Prayuth Chan-ocha and Supreme Commander Gen. Thanasak Patimaprakorn, Miss Yingluck congratulated the senior statesman as he celebrated his 94th birthday at his residence in central Bangkok. In response, Gen. Prem, a former prime minister, asked them to unite and perform duty for the benefit of Thailand. (TNA)
