Iran To Export Gas To Oman

Tehran, Aug 26, IRNA – During the first round of talks between high-ranking Iranian and Omani delegations, the two countries reached an agreement on export of Iranian natural gas Oman, the Iranian oil minister announced on Sunday. After holding talks with his Omani counterpart, Mohammed Al Rumhy at Saadabad Cultural Complex in Tehran, Bijan Namdar Zangeneh told IRNA that the two sides had good talks on exporting natural gas from Iran to Oman and will continue talks in this regard in the future. Oman's Minister of Oil and Gas is one of high-ranking officials accompanying Sultan Qaboos during his ongoing visit to Tehran. Sultan Qaboos arrived in Tehran on a 3-day official visit earlier in the day. He is accompanied by 6 cabinet ministers and senior advisors in his visit to Tehran./end
