G.Mandakhnaran wins bronze medal at FILA World Championships

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An international master of sports G.Mandakhnaran has won a bronze medal in the FILA Wrestling World Championships which kicked off Monday in Budapest, Hungary. Competing in the men’s 66 kg contest, our wrestler had a bye at the first round, defeated opponents from Ukraine, Hungary and Greece, at the semi-final he was defeated by a Cuban Livan López, then he beat a wrestler from the North Korea Kang Jin-Hyok with score 3:1 at the repechage round. The same day, other Mongolians E.Bekhbayar and E.Khuderbulga competed in the men’s 55 kg and 96 kg contests, respectively. They have not won any medals.
