President congratulates Angela Merkel

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ While participating in the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York city, the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj phoned Ms Angela Merkel and congratulated her on being re-elected the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG). The State Head also hoped that the Mongolia-Germany relations and cooperation will expand. He is confident that Mongolia will be able to fully provide its domestic needs with a fuel by co-implementing a Mongolian-German project--which is in a discussion process--on producing the fuel from coal. In response, Ms Merkel said she will have its Minister of Economic Development visit Mongolia as soon as she set up her cabinet, in order to intensify this project.
