Boxers to compete World Amateur Boxing Championship

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia’s Olympic Boxing Federation (MOBF) has selected boxers who will compete in the 2013 AIBA World Amateur Boxing Championship. It will run October 14-26 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The national team has G.Gan-Erdene (49 kg), Kh.Enkhdelger (52 kg), N.Togstsogt (56 kg), J.Otgonjargal (60 kg), U.Monkh-Erdene (64 kg), B.Tuvshinbat (69 kg), N.Shinebayar (75 kg) and S.Erdenebayar (81 kg). A State Honored Sportsman and Olympic bronze medalist U.Monkh-Erdene has been qualified to participate in the World Championship by defeating his countryman Z.Enkhzorig at a selection contest. For the time being, the boxers are having an intensive training at "Selenge" camp.
