Premier gets au fait with construction process

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On Monday, the Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag and other officials got familiarized with a construction of the #3 Thermal power station and visited a valley in Bayangol near the UB city. It was a part of the "Hours of great construction" meeting. A first deputy director of the thermal power station B.Ganbaatar said a construction of the annex of this station, which started this July 20, is going with 60 percent. "We are doing our best to complete the erection in December 25, as scheduled," he added. The Ministry of Construction and Urban Development reported that engineering infrastructure works are done in Bayangol mountain valley where apartments will be erected with a budget capital. Within a plan to shelter 40-50 thousand families, a construction of apartments for 5,500 families have been launched by the private sector, apartments for 700 families are expected to be put into use next year's spring, and a construction of 6,000 families' apartments will start thanks to the Turkish government's loan, the State Secretary of this Ministry R.Erdeneburen said. He also informed the PM that prompt measure haven been taken to augment a supply of cement, for example, 80-100 carriages of cement are coming to Mongolia after holding talks with the Chinese suppliers, other 20 carriages are being supplied directly from Chinese Erlian, "so the cement prices have declined". Regarding the fuel matter, the "Magnai Trade" company has reduced prices of fuels.
