Russia optimistic about Iran nuclear talks

TEHRAN,Oct.12(MNA) – Moscow has expressed hope that the upcoming meetings of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the six major powers with Iran will help resolve the dispute over Tehran’s nuclear program, the Voice of Russia reported. "We are hopeful that next week's meetings between Iran and the IAEA and Iran and the E3+3 group will begin concrete movement towards this goal: the lift of remaining concerns about the Iranian nuclear program," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told a press conference on Friday. Iran and the six major powers, namely the United States, China, Russia, Britain, France, plus Germany, which are known as the 5+1 group, are scheduled to meet in Geneva on October 15 and 16. And representatives of Iran and the IAEA will meet on October 28.
