Bill on crimes submitted to parliament

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Justice Kh.Temuujin MP Tuesday submitted a bill on crimes to the Speaker of parliament. The Minister noted that the criminal law always regulates the relations in protection of the society, state and civilians against any criminal actions, and keeps the values of politics, ideology, law and culture at their generations. Since an approval in 2002, the law on criminals has been amended several times depending on various conditions and reasons, and it has clauses on the criminal actions against human body, mentality and properties under analysis of a number of crimes against human rights and freedom, Mr Temuujin stressed. Moreover, the bill includes an additional article on the crimes against children and sexual immunity, and punishments for these crimes have toughened, Temuujin said. In conjunction with the bill, the MP also submitted to parliament draft amendments to the laws on administrative jurisdiction and on court administration.
