Mild quake hits Thai South

PHANG NGA, THAILAND, October 26 (TNA) - The Meteorological Department says that a minor earthquake measuring 2.4 on the Richter scale hit Muang District of Thailand's southern resort Phang Nga Province on late Friday (Oct 25) night. The Meteorological Department’s Seismic Surveillance Bureau reported on Saturday (Oct 26) that the mild tremor was detected at about 10 pm, local time, on Friday. There were, however, no reports of casualties or damage. (TNA)
