Communist Party delegation of China meets Party Secretary General

(KPL) The Communist Party delegation of China led by Mr. Zhang Gaoli,
Politburo member and Party Chief of Tianjin City on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Choummaly Sayasone, Secretary General of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party CC, President of the Republic in Vientiane.
The Lao President warmly welcomed the visit of the Chinese delegation. President Choummaly referred to the visit of the Chinese delegation as an important contribution to further enhancement of the relations of friendship and co-operation between the two countries.
Mr. Zhang Gaoli presented the message of greetings to the Lao President and people of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Hu Jintao. Mr. Zhang Gaoli thanked the Lao side for the warm hospitality reserved for him and his delegation. He said that his brief visit would help stepping up the ties of bilateral relations of friendship and co-operation. The discussion was held in an atmosphere of highest cordiality.
Mr. Choummaly also briefed his guest about the activities and future plan of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.
