CONSUL GENERAL WORKS IN LA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Consul General of Mongolia to San Francisco N.Ankhbayar and advisor B.Gerelmaa worked in Los Angeles, USA October 25-29. During his stay there Mr N.Ankhbayar met with Los Angeles City Council member Tom LaBonge. The parties agreed to work together on the establishment of relations between Ulaanbaatar and Los Angeles in expanding bilateral cooperation in the spheres of culture, sports and arts. Moreover the event titled "Open door day of Mongolia" was organized to promote Mongolian cultures and arts, in partnership with Los Angeles Mongolian Association and some officials of this city. Apart of this, Mr. Ankhbayar visited a Mongolian school where he presented textbooks and other training materials. Meantime, consular services were provided to Mongolians living and studying in that city.
