Laos presents invitation card to ASEAN country for SEA Games 2009
(KPL) Mr. Somsavat Lengsavad, Standing Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the National Organising Committee for 25th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 2009) presented on 12 November an invitation card to the representative of 10 ASEAN member country for 25th SEA Games.
During the presentation ceremony, Mr. Somsavat expressed thanks to the ASEAN countries for their supports Laos to host the 25th SEA Games which is the first time for Laos. He also informed the delegates from ASEAN about the readiness of Laos for this SEA Games.
The games will run from 9 to 18 December, 2009 with the opening ceremony to take place on 13 December.
