Luangnamtha-Ving Phu further co-operation

(KPL) The northern province of Luangnamtha and Ving Phu province of Vietnam agreed to further their bilateral co-operation based on the principle to enhance the traditional special friendship relation and
comprehensive co-operation.
The statement was released during the visit to Luangnamtha province of the Ving Phu province delegation last week. The said MoU was signed by the two provincial governors.
At the meeting of the two provinces, the sides reviewed their past
co-operation and signed the agreement, which the Ving Phu province will provide US$ 8 million of its grant aid to help
Luangnamtha province to build its cultural hall.
In the past, the Ving Phu province has offered a number of assistance to the Luangnamtha province including provincial hospital, schools, irrigation systems, water supply, provincial administration office, radio station and human resource development.
On this occasion, Mr. Phimmasone Leaugkhamma, Governor of Luangnamtha province also awarded the friendship medal to 8 peoples of Ving Phu province
delegation.
