Secretary of National Security Council visiting Turkey

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Secretary of National Security Council of Mongolia Mr Ts.Enkhtuvshin and accompanying him officials has held a meeting with Mr Muammer Turker. The meeting with the Turkish Secretary-General of National Security Council took place in this country on November 12 during Ts.Enkhtuvshin's visit. The sides focused on the matters of the Councils' cooperation. They introduced to each other structure and operations of the Council and talked about a realization of the cooperation memorandum established between the Councils in 2011. The sides also agreed to share information, to support each other at the international arena, to assist a network of the same organizations. They underlined that the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in security issues, inked by the Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his official visit to Mongolia this April, played its role in expanding of the ties between these organizations. After this, the sides touched upon ways of boosting the economic relations. Present at the meeting were Deputy Secretary of National Security Council of Turkey Major-General Sh. Alpaslan and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Turkey B.Batkhishig. xxxxxxxx The same day, Mr Enkhtuvshin met with the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Naji Koru. They expressed a mutual satisfaction with a development of the traditional friendly relations our countries. Mr Enkhtuvshin said Mongolia considers Turkey as its Third neighbor. They also underlined that several important events taking place within one year--Mr Erdogan's visit to Mongolia and our Speaker's visit to Turkey and also the seventh meeting of the joint committee on trade and economy between Mongolia and Turkey--do prove that our countries have been more tightening up the ties between them.
