MEETING ON MONGOLIAN BUSINESS HELD IN LONDON

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland N.Tulga Thursday participated in the "Doing business in Mongolia" meeting. The meeting ran at the headquarter office of AngloAmerican company in London and brought together 100 delegates of British investors and representatives of the Mongolia-Britain Chamber of Commerce, Mongolian Business Council and Accountant Institution of Mongolia, also those interested in cooperating with in Mongolia. Addressing the meeting, Mr Tulga spoke about Mongolia's policy on mining and investment sectors and on their changes. He also talked about environment of Mongolia's economy and investments with a Deputy Ambassador of the British embassy in UB city Julian Pearson, the president of the Representation of the AngloAmerican in Mongolia Gram Hancock, and director of Asiatical professional research company Patrick Tilbury. The British investors asked about the power plant-5 project, Tavan tolgoi IPO, mining law, Mongolian Government's policy on the privatization of state-owned enterprises.
