Mongolian leader receives Vietnamese PM

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj received the Vietnamese Premier on Thursday. At the meeting, the Prime Minister of Vietnam Mr Nguyen Tan Dung thanked Mr Elbegdorj for paying the state visit to his country, "which precedes the 60th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic ties to ne marked next year". Wishing the President a pleasant stay in his country, the Premier expressed a confidence that this visit will bring the bilateral relations and cooperation into a new level. Mr Elbegdorj thanked Mr Dung for cordially receiving the Mongolian delegation in Vietnam, and promised to work harder to maintain and fruitfully develop the friendly relations that have been left for them from the both sides great leaders' times. After this the sides focused on future projects to strengthen bilateral relations, and explored ways to build up possible cooperation, inter-governmental and people-to-people relations. Present at the meeting were also Mongolian FM L.Bold MP, Ambassador of Mongolia to Vietnam D.Enkhbat, Secretary of National Security Council Ts.Enkhtuvshin, Chief of the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces Ts.Byambajav, Advisor to the President on National Security and foreign policy L.Purevsuren and others. After this, the President of Vietnam Truong Tan Sang gave a banquet in honour of his Mongolian counterpart.
