President receives congratulations from Turkish President on National Day and winning the bid to hosting EXPO

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has received a cable of congratulations from Abdullah Gul, President of the Republic of Turkey, on the occasion of the UAE's 42nd National Day anniversary and the winning of Dubai's bid to host EXPO. In his cable, the President of Turkey expressed his sincere congratulations and those of the people of Turkey to President Sheikh Khalifa on these two great occasions, hailing the wise leadership of His Highness in strengthening the well-established relations between the two countries, which derives strength from the historical and cultural ties between the two countries. He stressed that the continuation of the existing relations between the two countries in various fields is for the interest of both sides and their peoples and the region as a whole.
