YOUNG WRESTLER WINS GOLD MEDAL IN INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An international master of sports Z.Zanabazar has won a gold medal in the 9th international junior tournament for free-style wrestling named after Buvaisar Saitiev, three-time Olympic champion and six-time World champion of Russia. From November 29 to December 1 in Krasnoyarsk city, Russia, the competition attracted 348 young wrestlers from Belgium, South Korea, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Germany and Russian oblasts and districts. Mongolia was represented by 15 wrestlers coached by P.Chuluunbaatar, a general coach of the capital city. Z.Zanabazar grabbed the only medal. Apart of this success, this year he became an Asian champion and won a bronze medal of the Junior World Championship.
