FM ATTENDS NATO FOREIGN MINISTERIAL MEETING

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia L.Bold and accompanying him delegates have participated in the Foreign Ministerial meeting of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization /NATO/. The action ran at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels, the Kingdom of Belgium on December 3-4. The FM L.Bold held bilateral talks with the NATO Deputy Secretary-General and Ambassador Mr A.Vershbo. They expressed a mutual satisfaction with a process of the partnership program and focused on the cooperation perspectives, for example, on Mongolia's contribution to the International Security Assistance Force /ISAF/ and its post-2014 participation and support and on security issues of Northeast Asia. The Individual Partnership and Cooperation Program between Mongolia and NATO was approved in March 19 of 2012, followed by Mongolia's taking a status of Partner-Country. Moreover, Mongolia became the first country to cooperate with the NATO under this program.
