AIMAG INTRODUCES NEW MANAGEMENT ON TRASH CLASSIFICATION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Arkhangai aimag has introduced a new management on trash classification and recycling. A two years ago, the aimag planned to remove a trash points which covered some 50 hectares area and tackled this problem by using landfill system, decreasing the area by five hectares. Now this point has been occupied by a small enterprise which already began classifying and recycling the waste. One sort of the rash is put into containers and is recycled later, other is burnt in deep holes. The PM Altankhuyag said that other aimags should learn this experience.
