NATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION PROGRAM DISCUSSED

Ulaanbaatar /MONSTAME/ A consultative meeting for the National Anti-Corruption Program (NACP) ran at the Ulaanbaatar Hotel Wednesday. It gathered representatives of ten press agencies to have them discuss the NACP, initiated by the President of Mongolia and being developed by the Independent Authority against Corruption and Mongolian Women Lawyer’s Association (MWLA). A head of MWLA B.Dolgor introduced results of the corruption public awareness survey. It shows an increasing confidence of people in the public services, however, land allotment offices and mining sector are still the worst places where the bribery is "flourishing". After this, the participants shared opinions about the anti-corruption program, which will be submitted to parliament within this year after a nationwide forum on the matter--a last action of the ongoing development stage of the program.
