PRESIDENT RECEIVES AMBASSADOR OF IRAN

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj Thursday received Mr Mahdi Safari, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Mongolia. The Ambassador thanked the President for the audience, and said the bilateral relations and cooperation have been actively developing since the two countries established the diplomatic relations in 1971. Mr Mahdi also added that he will make all efforts to forward these ties. In response, the President congratulated the Iranian Ambassador on successful Talks of Iran’s nuclear programme hosted in Geneva, Switzerland, and on Iran and G5+1 Talks. He said the two countries have a big opportunity to widen their cooperation by students exchange, by collaborating in education, culture, arts, economics, trade, industry, construction and other spheres. After this the sides shared views on measures for developing the bilateral ties and on organizing mutual visits and other activities.
