RAF Presents 700 Prefabricated Houses to House Syrian Refugees in Jordan

Amman , December 13 (QNA) - The Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah for Humanitarian Services (RAF) has presented about 700 prefabricated houses (caravans) and distributed 3000 blankets as part of its warm winter campaign , the Office of UNHCR in Jordan said in a press statement issued here on Friday . The UNHCR statement added that the initiative comes within a range of joint regional and international efforts and in cooperation with the Jordanian government and the humanitarian organizations concerned to reduce the impact of the very difficult and bad weather conditions and snowfall being fallen on the Syrian refugees at Zaatari refugees camp and other shelters so as to enable them to face this severely cold season and provide them with some the necessary relief and humanitarian materials, the statement added.(QNA)
