B.Ser-Od wins Hofu Yomiuri marathon 2013

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A State Honored Sportsman and long-distance runner B.Ser-Od has won a gold medal in the Hofu Yomiuri marathon, which took place last Sunday in Hofu city of Japan. Our runner completed the distance (42.2 km) in two hours and 09 seconds, and set up his personal record. He was followed by a Japanese Yuki Kawauchi (02.09.15) from Saitama prefecture. This is the third gold medal Ser-Od has won in the Hofu Yomiuri marathon. In 2013, B.Ser-Od also won a gold medal in the Asian Marathon Championship and a silver medal in the East Asian Games in the 5,000 meters running.
