Historical and cultural heritage protection zones set

Ulaanbaatar /MONSTAME/ The cabinet meeting on Saturday decided to draw historical, cultural heritage protection zones in southern provinces of the country. The special protection zones include a territory of 408 ha with dinosaur track in Omnogovi province, and a territory of 892 ha with fossil remains in Dornogovi. At these zones, heritage damaging actions such as construction and close road building, that cause high vibration, will be prohibited. The cabinet told the province governors to build relevant signs and fences around the zones, a Tourism Minister Ts.Oyungerel was obliged with rendering an assistance in creating secured travel routes in these protected areas.
