Hakuho M.Davaajargal competes against Russian Fedor Emelianenko

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Sumo grand champion Hakuho M.Davaajargal Monday competed at an arm wrestling tournament against Famous Russian heavyweight fighter Fedor Emelianenko in Japan. Ahead the event so-called ‘Gaint Killing-3’, most people were expecting that Hakuho M.Davaajargal would win as he has advantages of height (193m-183m) and age (28-37) against Emelianenko. However, in this short competition, he easily lost to his Russian opponent mostly due to a wrong technique. Hakuho M.Davaajargal is a professional sumo wrestler (rikishi) from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. In 2009, he broke the record for the most wins in a calendar year, winning 86 out of 90 bouts, and repeated this feat with the same record again in 2010 when he established the second longest winning streak in sumo history. He also holds the record for the most undefeated tournament championships at ten, which is two more than any other sumo wrestler in history. He was the only active yokozuna from 2010, following the retirement of his rival and fellow Mongolian Asashoryu, until 2012 with the promotion of fellow Mongolian Harumafuji. Fedor Vladimirovich Emelianenko is a Russian politician and retired heavyweight mixed martial artist, sambist and judoka. He has won tournaments and accolades in multiple sports, most notably the Pride 2004 Grand Prix and the World Combat Sambo championship on four occasions, as well as medaling in the Russian national Judo championship.
