DP suggests dissolution of parliament unseated parties

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Parliamentary faction chairman of the Democratic Party D.Erdenebat announced the party’s decisions to propose dissolution of non-parliamentary parties. According to the suggestion, the law on political parties will see some amendments, including disbandment of non-parliamentary political forces. The suggestion also foresees a change in an article of the currently valid law on political parties that requires 800 signatures to establish a political party. The Democratic Party wants to dissolve parties, which become active amid elections only. The draft also suggests solution to issues such as party membership, party criteria, and party’s involvement in local administrations.
