MONGOLIAN BIKER SUCCESSFULLY FINISHES DAKAR RALLY

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian D.Boldbaatar Saturday successfully finished the final and 13th stage of the Dakar Rally. Thus he became one of 78 finishers from starting 196, while his teammates Kh.Batbold and N.Lkhamaa left the race at the third and fifth stages respectively. With his result of the final stage, D.Boldbaatar has also become the second Asian racer to finish one stage among top 50. The overall standing has put our biker at 60th among 78 finishers. The 36th edition of the world famous Dakar rally completed its 13th and final stage, as the surviving cars, motorcycles and quadbikes rode into Valparaiso in Argentina. Dakar legend Marc Coma won his fourth title in the motorcycle category, having finished the final stage in 18th position, maintaining his lead in the overall classification. The Spaniard has been hugely consistent, having won or finished on the podium in each of the last four events. His title was also manufacturer KTM’s 13th win.
