FIFTH NATIONAL SPORTS FESTIVAL TO RUN

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The cabinet meeting Saturday approved a program of the fifth national sports festival. The festival is planned to run in two stages such as provincial competitions and finals. The qualifying contest will be held in first half of the year, before camel polo and horse training competitions among horse breeders in September. The festival sports also include national Naadam games such as the national wrestling, long-distance horse races, archery and knucklebone shooting. The festival allows provincial administrations to run an ethnic minority game or contest in their province within the festival organization.
