BAKU HOSTS ROUND TABLE “AZERBAIJAN IN 21ST CENTURY-STRATEGY OF SUCCESS”

Baku, 20 November,(AzerTAj)International round table entitled “Azerbaijan in the 21st century-strategy of success” initiated by Russian Institute of Eurasian Studies, a Russian non-profit organization for development, started in the “Europe”
hotel, on November 20 in Baku.

Over 60 representatives from Presidential Administrations of Azerbaijan and Russia,
MPs of Milli Majlis and State Duma and political figures attend the event.
President of the non-profit organization Mr. Tursunov welcomed the meeting
participants and thanked leadership of Azerbaijan for conducting such round table in
Baku.
On behalf of Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, head of the
department for interregional and cultural relations with foreign countries under
Presidential Administration S.Vinokur welcomed the forum participants. He underlined
that Azerbaijan demonstrates stable growth of economic development, including
transport and communication areas. Mr. Vinokur stressed the rapidly developing
relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.
Head of the political analyze and information support department of Azerbaijan`s
Presidential Administration Elnur Aslanov noted that Azerbaijan is a bridge
connecting cultures and civilizations of the West and East. Azerbaijan is not only
center of transportation of energy supply but also bridgehead of interchange
between the countries, said Mr. Aslanov.
After, “Azerbaijan and Eurasia - stability and development”, “Role of political
parties in Azerbaijan`s political system: program of New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) as a
basis for successful development of the country”, “Public administration system in
Azerbaijan – effective activities of government, society and business” subjects were
discussed at the event.
