Mongolian wrestlers win medals

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Freestyle wrestlers of the national selected team captured medals including gold in the 25th Wrestling Golden Grand Prix named after Ivan Yarygin ran January 24-26 in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. On the first day of the tournament, an international master of sports S.Tserenchimed won a silver medal in the women’s 58 kg contest, and another wrestler A.Battsetseg from the “Khasu Megastar” club won a bronze medal in the women’s 53 kg contest. The next day, a State Honored Sportswoman O.Burmaa grabbed a gold medal in the women’s 75 kg, beating her opponents of Russia and Belarus at the semi-final and final contests. In the previous tournaments, she won three silver medals in 2008, 2012 and 2013. Others did not win medals.
