CUSTOMS TAX FOR AVIATION FUEL REDUCED TO ZERO

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In accordance with the cabinet decision, made on Tuesday, the customs tax for aviation fuel, imported through the Zamyn-Uud border checkpoint, has been reduced to zero. By this the cabinet wants to keep a stability in fuel prices and to prevent any fluctuations. In the aviation fuel, Mongolia is 80 percent dependent on Russia, thus frequently faces a problem of fluctuation of the border prices. Until today, the aviation fuel was not transported through the Zamyn-Uud checkpoint, so the above step will not affect the state budget, but will contribute to providing of the country with the fuels from various sources.
