New plant to provide 60 thousand households with heating

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Energy Ministry is planning to build the Amgalan heat plant in eastern Ulaanbaatar within this year. The Ministry also intends to complete expansion projects of the third and fourth thermal stations of the city in 2014. The large-scale heating projects that have not taken place in the last 30 years will greatly contribute to the city’s economic development, officials say. The Amgalan heat plant will "warm" 60 thousand households in the eastern part of the city, while the expansion project of the third and fourth thermal stations will create a chance to add up new housing districts to the old heating system.
