Boxing national championship starts

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The national championship for boxing 2014 started Wednesday in Ulaanbaatar city. Organized by the Mongolia’s Olympic Boxing Federation (MOBF), this year’s events are running in tribute to V.Batbayar, a State Honored Coach, with a participation of 150 boxers from 24 clubs, such as, N.Togstsogt, Olympic and World championship silver medalist; international masters of sports D.Otgondalai, E.Iderkhuu and B.Tuvshinbat. State Honored Sportsman and Olympic bronze medalist U.Monkh-Erdene and the Asian champion Z.Enkhzorig are not taking part in the championship. The action is running under the newest rule of the AIBA, which means that boxers are fighting without slams.
