COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN VISITS ATOMIC ENERGY AUTHORITY

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A chairman of the parliamentary Standing committee on security and foreign affairs Ts.Oyunbaatar Wednesday visited the Atomic Energy Authority (AEA) of Mongolia. The AEA head N.Tegshbayar briefed to the MP on their achievements and plans. This year, the authority marks its 40th anniversary of becoming a member to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and starting to take part in cooperation program. Tegshbayar said that IAEA highly praised Mongolia for its successful implementation of IAEA programs on technical cooperation and regional agreements in sectors of health, foods, agriculture, geology, mining, industry, sciences, education, technology and security for these 40 years. After the briefing, Mr Oyunbaatar asked some officials questions and received detailed answers.
