Premier’s 30 minutes meeting with media

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At his meeting with the media Thursday, the Premier N.Altankhuyag briefed on the government's selection of the industrialization projects. Since announcing the tender for these projects, the government has received one thous. 151 project offers, including 776 import substitution-targeted projects and 121 export-oriented ones. The selection process has not concluded yet, said the Premier. He also announced the Government’s plan to hold a Mongolian economic forum late March. Responding to other questions, he linked reasons of sale proposal of a new building of the Intelligence Agency to unsuitable location and inadequate space. The building has been included in the list of public facilities to be sold at auction, he explained. With an opening bid of 14.5 billion togrog, this auction will mark the start of series of requisition and privatization measures.
