Oil pipeline might be constructed from Mongolia to China

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A pipeline can be built from Mongolia to territory of the People's Republic of China (PRC). A proposal on this has been put by oil exporters to the Mongolian Ministry of Mining and the Oil Authority, the news.mn website said Tuesday. Officials said there are no details because the state bodies are learning the proposal, but a related research will start here. Some years have passed since Mongolia became an oil extracting and exporter country. As of first 11 months of 2013, Mongolia exported 4.5 million barrels of oil that is higher 1.2 million barrels or by 40% against previous year. The export revenue from the oil reached 140 million US dollars. The increasing oil extraction and export have stimulated transport matters. As of present, the oil export has been performed by trucks of the Petro China Daqin Tamsag and the Dongsheng Oil exporter companies. The transportation of thousands of trucks cause problems to the nature, this issue is severely criticized. Since it is not possible to transport increasing volume of oil, the matter on constructing the oil pipeline has been raised.
