PM TO VISIT ERDENET MINING CORPORATION

During his stay there, Mr Altankhuyag will visit Erdenet Mining Corporation (EMC) to focus on use of import substitution products in production and services. EMC is a joint Mongolian-Russian venture, and accounts for a majority of Mongolia's hard currency income. It mines 22.23 million tons of ore a year, producing 126,700 tons of copper and 1,954 tons of molybdenum. The Prime Minister will also meet with local inhabitants at a live-broadcast meeting.
