GOVERNMENT TO RENEW MEDICINE POLICIES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Cabinet meeting last Friday discussed a draft resolution on Government medicine policies. Recent studies have revealed a need for rational governmental policies on medicine and proper regulations on procurement procedures of drugs and medical equipment. The surveys also pointed out a need for enhanced public-awareness actions on the matter. Thus, the Government for Reforms has been renewing its documents regulating drug and medicine distribution in the nation to set new international-level standards. These documents aim at provision of safe, high quality and reasonably priced pharmaceutical drugs to people. At the meeting, Cabinet agreed to submit the resolution to the State Great Khural (parliament).
